Translation of the FanParty article by Madeleine:

The name was Madeleine and the Official Swedish TH Street Team I do lead.
Through hard work and maybe some luck I got the chanse to go to THs own Party, which was held for their fans as a Thank You for all the support in votings and everything else.

It was named to "The Video Music Awards THANK YOU Fan Party", since fans from all over the world brought TH to victory in the Best Newcomer category in the VMAs.
About 600 fans from all over the world would go to the party, and I was one of them!
Dear FRIDA readers and TH fans - Follow me through my own words, to one of the greatest moments of my life!

From November 28th to December 2th I was "on the road".
In confusion I almost got on the wrong buss the first thing I did.
Was everything packed?
Was I prepared?
My head was totally off.

It all began in the town Hudiksvall, with a stop in Stockholm and then it was off to Hamburg city.
Hamburg is the town in my heart, where I have seen TH live and also lived there for some time.
This only made the whole thing even better.

Me and one of my friends got to Hamburg at Nov.29
We met our third friend there, who's from Italy (Madeleines note: It's Alix leute!!!).
Leave the bags at the Hotel, then we made the best we could with the small amount of time we had.
Visit at Hamburgs X-mas market, where we met up with the Official TH UK Street Team.
Together we enjoyed Hamburg City and shared speculations about tomorrows event.
Tomorrow was THE day! Nothing could go wrong.

30/11
09.00
How do you begin a day where everything have to go right?
Hard to say. We headed it off with breakfast, before we did the city once again, even though it's all closed on Sundays.
X-mas market plus lunch at the lake of Alster.

14.15
Back to the hotel. Complete makeover! Everything had to go right: Clothes, hair, makeup, yeah you get it.
For about two hours we fought for the only mirror in the whole room.
Incredible girly, but what to expect on a day like this?
We got transformed from Street Chick to Fancy Party Stars, and looked like we were about to have the best night of our lives.
Oh my, we were so right ;)

16.30
Outside Hünerposten
We should have been let in at 17.00
The crowd was big. Most of us was already there; Frozen and excited.
We met up with the UK Street Team once again plus two incredible cute girls from Sweden (Lotta and Jossan).

For far too long time we stood close together to keep the warmth.
About 17.10 the crowd begun to move. Two people at a time was let in.
I would say it took us about one hour and a half to get us through the first line,
and then being led to yet another line.
We were still not inside, but was still outside waiting with hundres of other excited TH fans from all over the world.

18.30
The excitement was in the air now, when they slowly let small groups in.
Me and one of my friends was finally let inside, and my nerves flipped out.
The jacket was now in the wardribe and we met up with the others.
Yet another line, but now we were inside! A dress in the cold of November Hamburg: No hit!
With a pink ribbon on my wrist, a TH stamp on my hand and enormous excitement in my body, you got led to the final line.

19.00
I stood in the doorfram and there they were. I reacted stronger that I had ecpected and prepared myself for.
I convinced myself that I had to make my breathing go back to normal before I reached them.

Fans around me reacted more freaked out than myself and some did not share any expression at all.
While standing in line I looked at them all four. "They..re humans", I caught myself thinking.
Of course I was aware of this already. But it..s something special with looking into peoples eyes. You get to take a part of the persons soul.
What I saw in Bills, Toms, Georgs and Gustavs souls was beautiful! Just as beautiful as I had imagined.

The signing session was, for me, about getting as much time as possible with the guys.
People around me had nice photos of the guys they wanted to have signed, also gifts of every kind.
I throwed a random paper infron of them they got sign, and I saw later on that it was my Fan Party ticket ;)

By the time I was infront of them, I managed to: Confuse Bill with the gift I had for him and Tom.
I shared an understanding moment with Tom.
With pleasure I enjoyed Georgs sweet smile and enormous kindness.
I scared Gustav in one of the best ways ever.
Besides all of this, I annyoed the guards becasue I took too long in the line.
I have the feeling most of us did ;)
You want to gain time! seconds! You want to make an impression, even if the way to do is to scare a poor drummer to madness ;)

19.10
Right after the signing session you got to the room where the Party was going to be held.
Red lights, disco ball, free bar, dancefloor, music and hundres of TH fans shaking it.
You danced till your shoes burned.
No one knew what was going to happen next.
Was this all?
Wouldnt I be able to see them anymore this evening?
You tried to not think of stuff like that.

20.00
Screaming! Major screaming!
The guys wlaked through the crowd, with very much needed body guards surroinding them.
Bill introduced in German, thanking us all for the support and made it clear: This party was made for us!
The amount of fainting people should have been about 50 people, though I strongly believe most of them were fake, just so they could be carried infront of the band.
What is the deal with that!?

After all the drama, the party started for real.
Inside of these four walls, in this small local, we danced in the same room as TH.
There was crowded infront of the VIP section where the band was seated.
I was happy with my spot. I had room to dance and I saw the boys at the same time.

In the speakers, the song of Lady GaGa "Just Dance" was played.
This song will forever be remebered by all of the TH fans which were in that room at that very moment.
The always so quiet drummer decided that yes; I will make you shake it!
While Gustav was dancing to Lady GaGa, who were we to NOT shake it till we dropped?
Party Mood was in the house!

All of you, who have been fooled that Gustav only is the silent and normal drummer even outside interviews: Well, you're wrong!
Gustav is spontangious and he happily share his more crazy side.
The dancing drummer was a wonderful sight, and he gave us more energy than the Red Bull (which was served) could ever give us.
We danced on and on.

I saw that the band was surrounded by guards.
All becasue they wanted to avoid a fan-attac.
They almost made it, until Georg decided to leave the room.
While trying to get out, a "fan" decided to act all idiot,
wjile gripping Georgs jacket with force and trying to rip it off him.
She got basiclly smacked to the floor by a guard.
Her way of acting is in my oppinion unaccepteble!
They made this party for us! For the fans, as a thank you,
and we cant behave?
I do not like!

The drama incident passed by and the party went on.
The Fans together with TH.
In the same room, where we shared the same air, same music and same experience.

How do you describe someting that's perfect, with only words?
By seconds they became human which was confirmed during the hours they spent with us.
Everyhting fitted.
Everything was right.
I wish that feeling for everybody!
The party gave what it had promised:
Signing session and Special Apperance!
I would like to say that it gave more than that,
but as a TH fan you're never satisfied.
You never get enough of TH, and therefor the negative reactions was borned, wich was unjustified and unnessesary.
We got what we were promised and even more!
Tokio Hotel was closer to me on every level this evening and I am not dissapointed!
I truly wish the majority feels the same as I.

1/12
"It's raining here in Stockholm today..."
The weather fits my mood. I will admit though,
that the expected depression kept away better than I tought it would.
And happy am I for that!
It's raining in Stockholm, but it only drizzling in my heart.
The sun is sneaking by the few raindrops and creating a rainbow.
Somehwere over the rainbow, where TH is placed in my heart.
They're there to stay!

Party Topp:
*Gustavs energy
*Free bar
*Meeting new people

Party Poop:
*Unjustified complain
*Fake fainting
*Fans who decides to act idiot

Man vill vinna tid! Sekunder!

20.00
Skrik! Skrik i massor!

var för oss!

I högtalarna strömmade Lady GaGas låt "Just Dance".

The German band proves there's attitude and good rock n' roll in any corner of the world.

My phone rings and I get a call in German, directly from Hamburg. For a few seconds, I was quite scared. I do English interviews all the time, but in that language it would be new to me. Glad someone on the line eases me identifying herself as the Portuguese-German translator. Uff! That way it would be easier to talk with Tom Kaulitz, the guitarist of the band Tokio Hotel. Along with his twin brother, Bill, the scandal vocalist, he leads the band that sold more than 3 million Cd's and DVD's, only in their homeland. During the interview Tom was very nice and gave out that he is a player. Right away, he revealed the desire to come to Brazil and, of course, to know by close the Brazilian girls. He spoke to me directly from a studio in Germany, where they're recording their 3rd album.

You play since children. How did you conciliate school and music?
In the beginning, it was easier for Bill and me. We only did shows on weekends. So it was peaceful to attend school. At the same time, it was fun because we were 12, 13 years old and we played in places where the most audience was over 30! Then, with 15, we released our first single, Durch den Monsun and, it was a success here in Germany. From then on, attending school became pretty difficult. We chose to study at distance. We just finish medium school.

You and your brother are identical twins, but you have very different looks. Is it on purpose?
It’s nothing on purpose. In fact, till 6 years old, we wore identical clothes and hair! If you see our photos, you’ll understand, that as years passed by, our style became naturally distinct.

How is it to be a rock star?
The most rewarding things for the band are playing live, going on tour and seeing our fans close by. And, speaking for myself, I love to know all the cities in the world and make out with all the beautiful women too.(laughs)

It’s been a while since I had a serious relationship. Normally, what happens are one night stands. But answering your question: yes, I really like to stay with fans.(laughs)

Do you have time to know the cities where you perform?
Lacks time to see all I would like to in the cities where we go. But I will be very happy if I have time to know Brazil when Tokio performs there.

Which was the coolest place you did a show?
That’s pretty hard to answer. All of us, in the band, love big cities. We like very much New York, Los Angeles and Moscow – which is a wonderful city to party. So as we like Paris, Rome and many others. It’s really difficult to choose only one place.

You recorded in English and German. Which language do you prefer?
In English or in German the songs have the same Tokio Hotel’s essence. The important thing is the feeling when we're playing. In the beginning, it was a bit strange for us to sing in English, but now it’s more normal.

What do you know about Brazil?
I don’t know much. So, I really want to go to Brazil and make my own opinion. You listen much about the carnival, of course. I have a great will to see those beautiful women from who we hear so much people talking about. Moreover, knowing that they nearly wear any clothes! (laughs)

Do you intend to come here?
Of course we have plans to go to Brazil! We just don’t have any specific date yet. But anyway we will go there to play live. Just wait!

Which are Tokio Hotel’s plans?
So, we’re going to release our third studio album, which will be recorded in German and English. That’s why, inclusively, that we’re here in Hamburg. In August, we’re going on tour in the USA. I hope to play in Brazil soon too.

Own Style! [PINK BOX]

From where the vocalist, Bill Kaulitz, took his extravagant look

1. PUNK: the spiky hair, the rivet belt, the black leather jacket are inspired by a movement that began in the late 70's.
2. MANGA: the make-up and the half anime figure leaves the vocalist with the face of the Japanese heroes: white skin, marked eyes and pinky well drawn mouth.
3. ANDROGYNOUS: seeing Bill, many people ask themselves: is it a boy or a girl? The outward belly, the small waist and the way to stop has androgynous inspiration - style that mixes masculine and feminine references in the making of the look.

Favorites - about Scream

German Invasion

The first Tokio Hotel's CD to reach Brazil, Scream, brings the 12 biggest hits of the Kaulitz twins’ band and, the best part, in English. The highlight goes to the track Monsoon, maybe their biggest success until now. Durch den Monsun, original version of the song recorded in 2003, is also there for those who want to risk to learn a bit of German. With Scream, the band shows that, besides a modern and cool look, they know how to make good music. And the boys don't even have 20 years old completed!

Lucio's Column

TOKIO JONAS

Because we are brothers!

Ok, attending to requests, we're going back to that issue... If you're between 13 and 18 years old, nothing seems to matter more in your life than the bands Jonas Brothers and Tokio Hotel. My e-mail box says it. So, let's see what I, that dedicated 25 years of my life to rock, have to say about them:

1) How come the biggest present female hysteria is caused by a band from former East Germany?
2) And the JoBros, so? They formed the band in New Jersey! That's not even the most incredible city in the world!
3) I began to respect Tokio Hotel when I knew that, last year, in front of a hotel in Paris, the screams and cries of French girls were measured by earthquake sensors. Hysterical scream in the Richter scale. It's true.
4) And the Jonas Brothers are cover of the American Rolling Stone magazine. I bring you an extract here - look how friend I am of the Jonas Brothers fans: "With an album that promises to sell millions, Jonas Brothers want to be seen as a real band."
5) The reader Mariel, from Brasilia, saw a Tokio Hotel concert in Spain and wrote me to tell me about it. "I was going to Rock in Rio to see Shakira. But then it was postponed and I ended up seeing Tokio Hotel. My tympanum blew out. Bill, Tom and Gustav are cute."
6) Back to Rolling Stone, a part of the text gives out that Jonas Brothers always take a group from the crowd and bring them to see the show closer to stage. In all the performances. Kinda of a ritual.
